At Sandhill it is our goal to live Christ to people while loving people to Christ. Sandhill FWB Church has been faithfully serving the communities of Castalia and Sandusky, Ohio for over 60 years. Sandhill is dedicated to providing truth, biblical understanding, and spiritual growth to each attendee of the congregation. As a congregation, Sandhill is comprised of a diversity of people ranging in ages, backgrounds, demographics, ethnicities, denominations, religions and more. While it is not typical to find close knit diversity among such a small group of people, we are drawn together by a uniting desire for Christ in our lives according to God’s Word. By laying aside our mistakes, our past, and any baggage we may have arrived with- we are each able to focus on fulfilling the calling of The Church to be Christ’s body.

No matter what sins or mistakes you have made in your life, God can forgive you. He has a plan for your life and even right now, He is calling you to Himself. We humbly invite you to join our congregation in pursuit of the victorious Christian life through Jesus Christ. We are persuaded with great confidence that the Bible is sufficient for every need. Through the teachings and preaching of God’s Word we are able to draw near in our relationship with Christ and overcome each struggle or obstacle that may stand in our way of a successful Christian life.

Sandhill offers a variety of groups, classes, services, and ministries which challenge spiritually, teach biblically, and build relationships strongly. Beyond this commitment, Sandhill is also actively involved in fulfilling the great commission and reaching a lost world for Christ. At Sandhill we are often described as a small church with a big heart and an even bigger God.Due to this fact, Sandhill is busting at the seams with ministry. Through various ministries, Sandhill is constantly reaching our community, state, nation, and even the world for the Lord. Nearly year round there are opportunities to serve and get in on what God is doing.

Faith Statement

•  We believe that the Bible is inspired and God’s infallible Word.

• We believe that a person will not go to heaven without having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In order to have such a relationship, a person must admit that they have sinned, repent of these sins, and then believe that Jesus death paid for these sins. Having such a relationship with Jesus Christ will result in a desire to live a Godly life according to the Bible.

• We believe that the Church is an essential part of the Christian life and without being a part of a local church, Christians will not live a victorious life in Christ. · We believe that Heaven and Hell are both literal and eternal.

• We believe that the Bible is the highest authority in the Church, above every tradition,  personal, and denominational belief.

• We believe a systematic and clear explanation of the Bible will cause a person to see their need for a Savior as well as encouragement and correction for the Christian.

• We believe that once a person is brought into a relationship with Christ, church attendance is vital to living a life pleasing to God according to the New Testament.

• We believe that even though the church is filled with broken people, we are to love one another in unity based upon Biblical teachings.

• We believe that the love and unity of unlikely individuals offers a contrast to the world which will draw people to Christ.

• We believe that Jesus is the head of the church and that everything should point and be completed for His glory.
