OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Sandhill FWB has fallen in love with The Samaritan’s Purse Ministry; Operation Christmas Child. Through OCC, children around the world receive a Christmas gift wrapped in a shoe box and even more importantly the gift of knowing Jesus Christ. Each box is specifically packed, prayed over, and provided with love from our congregation. Each year Sandhill sets a unique one year goal for the amount of shoe boxes to pack. Our current goal for 2022 is 1,350 shoe boxes. You can help the Sandhill OCC ministry by donating items or giving a monetary donation online (please see the below instructions) . You can also attend one of our two annual shoe box packing parties this November!

Sandhill also serves as an certified OCC drop off location for the Sandusky area. Churches, youth groups, families, and individuals may drop off their shoe box to Sandhill during collection week.

With God’s blessing and leading, our desire is for the women of Sandhill Church to have a longing to grow in Christ. We are committed to making sure that our purpose is the continued guideline for everything that is accomplished. We believe that God has put this desire in our hearts for the purpose of; women forming intimate relationships with Jesus Christ, women building long lasting and trustworthy relationships with each other, discovering the expectations that Christ has for Christian women, and ultimately growing in the knowledge of what it actually means to be a daughter of Christ the King.

NOYC!

Sandhill FWB has hosted the Northern Ohio Youth Camp for now over a decade. Each year adults and young people from all across Ohio and many other states join together for a life changing, soul saving, ridiculously fun week at summer camp. Find out more about the NOYC by visiting our website below;

NOYC Godcast

The NOYC offers wacky wisdom each week from God’s Word on a one-of-a-kind podcast, hosted by camp staff. Each week youth and adults can tune in to be challenged, strengthened, and to get a good laugh. The NOYC GODcast is available by video on YouTube, audio on all major podcast platforms, or in blog form to your inbox each Monday.

SANDHILL YOUTH

“Then were there brought unto [Jesus] little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” -Matthew 19:13-14

The mission of our ministry is to love-on and bring in as many youths as possible. We aim to see as many kids come to salvation and recognize that they are loved always by a Creator who has known them since before time began. We aim to equip our youth to live a life more abundant- by walking in the footsteps of Jesus. Even despite our imperfections- we want to show them that you can always point to Jesus and his wonderful sacrifice on the cross. We teach, preach, and learn, all while having fun and bringing joy to this Journey with The Sandhill Kids.

The Sandhill Kid’s Ministry currently meets twice a month on Sunday evenings at 6pm.

A Youth Discipleship class is held each Wednesday at 6pm as well as age-appropriate Sunday school classes Sundays at 10am
